Lighting Ceremony for the G7 Hiroshima Summit Countdown Board

On January 5, as part of the lead-up to the G7 Hiroshima Summit, Prime Minister Kishida held a small event to light the countdown board on display.

  1. Prime Minister Kishida stated that, as Chair, he will facilitate open and candid discussions among the G7 leaders to articulate ideas and plans for the future at the G7 Hiroshima Summit.
  2. Prime Minister Kishida also stated that more than 10 related ministerial meetings will take place throughout Japan, and at the same time, it will be a great opportunity to show the world the charms of each region in Japan as the world’s attention turns to Japan this year.
